This year I’ve come across two completely magical personalised Christmas books for kids and I can’t wait to see how much they are enjoyed.
Reading with Dylan is one of my favourite things, especially now that he’s starting to understand and match pictures to words. When I was little, my dad used to read The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey to us every Christmas Eve and I really can’t wait to start some Christmas reading traditions with Dylan. My sisters and I used to look forward to the Christmas story and we even read it together the last time we all stayed with Dad on Christmas Eve which was just a couple of years ago! There’s nothing more Christmassy then cuddling up together on the sofa in front of the fire reading a good book.
The first of the books on my list is Where’s Dylan? For this book, I had to upload a photo of Dylan’s face so I was a little worried that when the photo was used we might end up with bits of the background which might look a bit messy. That’s not the case at all though and every time Dylan’s face is used in the book it looks brilliant with no trace of background or poorly edited edges.
I think this book will be just perfect while Dylan is young as he’ll be so excited to see himself in a book. It’s a good story too with a very Christmassy theme. I’m so pleased with the quality of this book and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun but special gift for a younger child.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The second book on my list is a personalised copy of The Nightmare Before Christmas. This one isn’t really suitable for toddlers like Dylan but is perfect for older kids. The black cover looks classy, it has beautiful illustrations and children will love seeing their name and personalised message in the book. It comes in an appealing presentation box and is a book that will be enjoyed for years.
