Last night I was at a lovely hotel in Cobham, Surrey called Cedar House. It was my Auntie’s 50th birthday so lots her friends and family met up for the evening. The hotel is really pretty and cosy but with 90 people in the function room and snug it was very busy! Both rooms and the bar area were decorated with balloons and there was also a brilliant band playing and a buffet with fantastic food. Everyone had a really good evening but unfortunately we had to get a taxi back to my Auntie’s house to look after her cat while she and some of the others stayed the night in the hotel. In the morning we were told how nice the rooms were – they are all individually decorated, each with their own name not number. The only downside to the night was that the band had to stop playing at 11 because of the neighbours complaining!
