Before I Go To Sleep by SJ Watson
This book is a real page turner and keeps you guessing until the end. It’s about a woman who has lost her short term memory so when she goes to sleep she forgets everything that has happened that day. This means that there are some parts towards the start which are quite repetitive but if you can get past that it’s a really good book!
The Woman He Loved Before by Dorothy Koomson
I always enjoy Dorothy Koomson books. Like the others I’ve read, this is a great read, quick and easy but unfortunately not all that memorable. If you’ve liked Dorothy Koomson books in the past then you’ll definitely enjoy this one.
All We Ever Wanted Was Everything by Janelle Brown
I didn’t really like this book. It was readable but not the sort of book I particularly looked forward to picking up. I think it might have been because I didn’t actually like any of the characters.
I’m going to cheat a little here and list three books together. My sister picked these up in a charity shop and they were the perfect was to get through a difficult bit of dissertation writing – 50 minutes work and then a 10 minute reading break. Jill Mansell books are really easy to get into even if they are all pretty much based around the same story line (these three were at least) of a girl meeting a boy, falling in love and eventually living happily ever after. But that’s nice to read about sometimes isn’t it?!
