Living Nature Manuka Honey Lip Balm

Living Nature is a brand I’ve bought a few things from over the past couple of years.  Their products are all completely natural and so far everything I’ve tried has worked really well, although some of their range has a slightly odd smell!  This lip balm is absolutely brilliant.  It is really moisturising and has a slight sheen to it which makes it nice to wear.  The smell is nothing to write home about so at the moment I’ve got to admit that I keep reaching for the Palmer’s Dark Chocolate and Peppermint lip butter (which I reviewed here) over the Living Nature balm.  However, I’ve still been using this Living Nature lip balm a couple of times a day as I think it is better at hydrating my lips, even if it doesn’t smell anywhere near as good!

Christmas at L’Occitane

I love L’Occitane – everyone does right?  I love going into the shop and wandering round trying out the different products and deciding what to buy.  The products tend to be at the higher end of my budget but they are such good quality I can justify buying them occasionally!

L’Occitane have loads of great Christmas presents for both men and women.   At around £8, these new lips balms are cheaper than other products from L‘Occitane but are more than I’d usually spend on lip balm.  They are really moisturising and smell amazing so I think they are worth it, especially at Christmas!

There are also lots of gifts sets like this one…..

….. which are more expensive – this is £46, reduced from £63.40.

This £22 eyeshadow palette looks lovely and would make a nice gift.

Not forgetting the men, there are lots of different shaving products, shower gels and manly smelling eau de toilettes.

Like I said earlier – something for everyone!  Visit the website to find more products.

Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast

Raspberry Lemonade Blast is the new lip balm from Blistex.  It’s one of the best smelling lip balms I’ve ever used – it’s so fruity and summery!  As well as being really moisturising, it contains spf 15 so is perfect for the summer!

Spa Paradisa Sweet Coconut Lip Balm

I really love the summery tin this Spa Paradisa Sweet Coconut lip balm comes in and I also love the lip balm itself!  It smells delicious and is really moisturising – it works really well on dry, chapped lips.  There are no parabens in the lip balm which is always a good thing and it contains shea butter and vitamin E.  Now I really want to try some other Spa Paradisa products!  There are lots in the range – body butters, body scrubs, bath soaks and more.  You can buy Spa Paradisa products from Boots and Next.

Girly Christmas Stocking Fillers

Have a look at some of the Christmassy make up and other beauty products I’ve found which make really good stocking fillers or even presents all by themselves.

  • e.l.f have a great range of mineral eyeshadows for only £3.00 each.  There are lots of different colours and the eyeshadow itself is really good – it stays put all day.  The e.l.f nail varnishes are brilliant (read my review here) and I also like the Brightening Eye Color sets which again come in loads of colours and only cost £1.50 each.
  • I’ve found a website called Fushi which sells ethical beauty products.  They have some nice gift sets but I really like the lip balms (except the Organic Rescue which smells disgusting!).  Their Hydrating Lip Balm (£4.95) smells really spa like and works well.

Green People Organic Lip Balm

I’m not really one for wearing lip gloss or lip stick because I hate that they feel gloopy and heavy on your lips.  I’ve recently tried a lip balm by Green People which I really love as it not only makes my lips nice and soft, but also looks like a lip gloss and it stays put for hours.  It is spf 8 and uses 70% organic products.  I would definitely recommend it!
