Bassbuds Headphones & Discount Code

My latest pair of headphones are from Bassbuds, just plain black but with Swarovski crystal on the back making them a little different.  The headphones give a really good sound quality and have a handy pause/play button towards the ear end which is good as you don’t need to keep getting your iPod/phone out of your pocket.  You can also use the headphones as a hands free as there is a tiny mic as well.  They come with some spare pairs of ear buds in different sizes and also a storage bag.  These headphones cost £34.95.  I’m really pleased with how good these are!Bassbuds are offering you lucky lot a £5 discount voucher to spend on their headphones, just enter the code BB38487.

Alva Crystal Roll-On Deodorant

My latest product from MyPure is the Alva Crystal Roll-On Deodorant.  I’ve been plucking up the courage to try a crystal deodorant for a while now but I’ve got to admit that I did chicken out of trying the actual Crystal Rock Deodorant.  I can’t see how using a rock as a deodorant can really work?

Anyway, the Crystal Roll-On seems to work amazingly well.  It is unscented and doesn’t leave any white marks.  I think I prefer this deodorant to my normal Dove one as it works so well and doesn’t contain any aluminium.  The deodorant it much more expensive than your average Dove or Sure deodorant at £7.00 so I’m not sure if it’s really worth it, especially after reading this article on how aluminium deodorants aren’t really that bad for you.

I think it would be more worthwhile to buy the Crystal Rock Deodorant which costs £8.50 but lasts for around a year.  I think I’ll have to give this one a go to see whether it really does work!

Swarovski Crystal Pens

These pens from the online boutique www.notyouraveragepen.com are studded with Swarovski crystals and come in a whole range of designs and prices.

I’ve got this little pink pen which had a few crystals on the end and costs £17.99.

The pen I really love (but is slightly out of my price range!) is this one covered completely in crystals.  It’s really cute but does cost £60 which is quite a lot for a student.  You can buy refills for this pen though so you don’t need to throw it away when it runs out.

The pens come in a gift box and you can even get some of them engraved so they make a great little gift and are something a bit different to your average box of chocolates.

Christmas Tree Decorations

Here are some cute baubles to decorate your tree with this Christmas…..

Waterford Crystal have a range of decorations including this beautiful snowflake.  I love it as it’s simple and not over the top but still looks lovely, especially when all of the fairy lights sparkle through it.  It comes in quite a sturdy box which you can use to store it over the years and the box is nice enough that you could give the bauble as a gift.

This decoration made by Wedgewood China is more traditional.  It’s really pretty and is quite pale so stands out well against the dark green of the tree.  Wedgewood China have a number of other Christmas tree baubles, all based around a similar sort of pattern and colour scheme.

Although these are really lovely baubles, they are not the sort of thing you’d decorate your whole tree in as they are quite pricey.  The Waterford Crystal snowflake is £35 while the Wedgewood China one is cheaper at £17.50.  However, they are perfect if you are looking for a special, stand out Christmas decoration this year.
